Southern California had the highest reported spot power price at $35.21/MWh

Southern California had the highest reported spot power price at $35.21/MWh.

The Northwest had the lowest spot power price at $18.93/MWh.

Southern California had the nation’s highest spark spread at $19.47/MWh.     

Regional spot natural gas prices ranged from $1.75/mmBtu in the Mid-Atlantic to $2.59/mmBtu in Northern California.

Nymex energy futures prices for December delivery of natural gas and coal were listed at $ 2.82/mmBtu and $40.00/ton respectively.
