Southern California had the highest reported spot power price at $35.05/MWh

Southern California had the highest reported spot power price at $35.05/MWh.

The Northwest had the lowest spot power price at $17.13/MWh.

Southern California had the nation’s highest spark spread at $22.32/MWh.     

Regional spot natural gas prices ranged from $1.66/mmBtu in the Northwest to $2.25/mmBtu in Northern California.

Nymex energy futures prices for December delivery of natural gas and coal were listed at $ 2.62/mmBtu and $40.00/ton respectively.
